Consultation Launch And Parklet Co-Design Event

When Is It?

We've booked out the community space at Arcadia Leisure Centre on Saturday the 26th of October and we're inviting everyone who lives, works or visits Levenshulme to get involved in the launch of our interactive heat map which will be up and running from next week.

We want you to have your say on 'Our Active Neighbourhood' plans. Come along!

What Will We Be Doing?

The project delivery team will be on hand (made up of sustainable transport designers, place making experts and community engagement professionals from Sustrans , Bespoke Transport Consulting and Highways with some of the Levenshulme Bee Network advocates) to chat about the aims of the 'Our Active Neighbourhood' project and collect your issues/ideas to help inform designs.

As well as that, we're installing a big, bold and uniquely Levenshulme parklet (a public space to socialise that takes out a couple of car parking spaces) along the A6 and we want to co-design it with more of the community.

What Time On Saturday?

Drop in any time between 1pm and 4pm. Come and help design it with us! Dog bowls, bike spaces, shelter from the rain, gym equipment, a place to rest?Bring your ideas to the fore and we'll try and make it happen!

We can also point you in the right direction to register your interest in a Bike Hangar on your street (another project we're delivering as part as the overall scheme). We really hope to see you there on Saturday!
